Quiet deadline day at Rovers
The transfer deadline day went by with no players moving in or out of the club, with Sean O’Driscoll currently happy with the state of his squad, which has picked up seven points in their opening games of the season, which sees Rovers in 10th place after four games. With Darren Byfield and Jason Price also now challenging for a place in the side after recovering from injury, the Rovers boss does not see any need to further strengthen his squad, saying: “I’ve got no plans to bring anyone in and hopefully we can try and keep our squad together. We need a strong squad in this division and so far we think we’ve got one. The players are up for the challenge to try and prove they are Championship players and I’d like to keep everyone.”
